Spotify NYC Workspace Reception

Created while at Acrylicize

During my time at Acrylicize, Spotify asked us to help define their global workspace brand experience across 19 locations, from strategy and design to implementation. Our first space was 18 floors of the World Trade Center in NYC. One of my favorite concepts took over their receptions by creating installations that dropped down from the ductwork or exploded from the vents as if the building was entirely made of audio. One single framework connected throughout the space.

Throughout the space hanging pop-color framework draws you to moments of audio output whether it be a podcasting mic or a speaker wall. The piece connects the entire space and weaves its way through the ceiling ductwork. My personal favorite is the baby grand piano that sits at the end of a hall on the 62nd floor and looks over the manhattan landscape. Below is a look behind the process.
